Male and Female Services

Kelly Hix is a physical therapist who specializes in incontinence and pelvic pain. Kelly will conduct a thorough examination to determine if any musculoskeletal dysfunction of the pelvis, such as muscular weakness, pelvic asymmetry, or muscle spasm is the cause of the symptoms. This specific exam will also provide information for the development of a comprehensive exercise program targeting the specific muscles that require retraining to reduce incontinence and/or pain.

What patients can expect:

  • Comprehensive evaluation consisting of a questionnaire, past medical history, and an internal pelvic exam (if necessary and depending upon diagnosis).
  • Possible treatment techniques: hands on therapy, exercise, ultrasound, dilators, relaxation techniques, and home exercise program.

If you would benefit from Kelly Hix's service, please contact Orthopedic Rehab Specialists, Rockford for further information.
